What is Pixalere?
Pixalere is a cloud-based wound care software tool that empowers nurses, specialists, and administrators to deliver better care. We serve and support over 8,000 daily clinical users as they treat over 40,000 patients with wounds annually. Our software is a synergy between our evidence-based clinical Wound Care Management System and information technology services, which sustains and grows the application with your needs. Our unique offerings are:
- A robust and easy-to-use wound care and ostomy charting tool
- Close to two decades of experience in regional and provincial software implementation
- Pixalere Generated Referrals: built-in automated, customizable alerts that impact care in your continuum
- A desktop and mobile compliant cloud application
How much training time is required to adopt the software?
We implement unlimited online training for all site administrators and Champions (users trained to use the software and who are responsible for training other users), and provide clinical training for all users. During this time, we navigate your needs together.
A typical implementation takes approximately four weeks from the initial kick-off meeting to launch date. Learn more on our Implementation page.
What hardware do we need to use Pixalere?
The only hardware required to run Pixalere is a device that has internet access and a built-in camera to take pictures of the wound.
Who do I contact if I have problems with the software?
Our support portal is accessible 24 hours a day. We also provide telephone and email support and web chat. Our help desk centre provides answers to frequently asked questions; all the common support tickets are archived and searchable. In addition, the entire Pixalere user guide is searchable through our online knowledge base.
We also empower users to help each other by providing access to our Pixalere User Group (PUG). This is our community forum where users can ask questions, report issues, and discuss workarounds. PUGs meet six to eight times annually.
