How Pixalere helps heal patients faster.

CHANGING THE TRAJECTORY OF WOUND HEALING.

We know how frustrating it can be to adopt a new system. We address skepticism healthcare professionals may have about technology and address beliefs they have about wound care with empathy. Pixalere helps nurses, wound care specialists, and administrators treat patients more efficiently through our peer-developed application. We have the
largest wound database in Canada and are the largest provider of e-wound care in Canadian nursing homes.

A Superb Collaboration Tool for Nurses and Wound Care Specialists
Pixalere enables medical professionals to provide the highest level of wound care while increasing efficiency, resulting in better care for patients. Patients can see their own healing progress, resulting in healing up to 59% faster than normal. We can integrate our software into your business unit and provide customized solutions based on your needs. We’ll help you implement Pixalere each step of the way and integrate your feedback to constantly improve and perfect our application for future users.
Wound Tracking Analytics
Pixalere allows users to compare past assessments to see what is or isn’t working. Data includes wound count, reports of active patients with open wounds, referrals and recommendations, estimated heal time and product cost, stage and location of Pressure Injury wounds, and other Business Intelligence reports useful for administrators. Based on collected and reported data, users can make staffing changes, select which products to use, and know where to focus their energy to become more efficient.
Recommended Treatment Plans
When clinicians input wound descriptions, Pixalere generates suggested treatment plans based on best practice guidelines. The wound management report provides a one-page overview of a patient’s wound status, which can integrate with third-party systems to provide an at-a-glance status of the patient.
Automated Referrals
There are five Pixalere Generated Referrals (PGR) already integrated into the software, and you may add more to meet your guidelines. For example, a referral generates if a wound has not healed by 30% in the amount of days specified, if the Dressing Change Frequency (DCF) exceeds three times per week or more, or if antimicrobial products are used on a patient. Users can create a report of all referrals and recommendations within each treatment unit and the response and turnaround time.
